COMMON INQUIRIES

DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SENIOR AND/OR SPECIAL NEEDS DOGS?

Yes, we have worked with dogs of all ages, ranging from two months to seventeen years! We have also worked with all sorts of dogs with many different health and behavioral concerns.

WHAT VACCINATIONS ARE REQUIRED TO GROOM MY DOG?

We suggest all pets are up-to-date on all Vet recommended vaccines, but only require a current rabies vaccination. All vaccinations must be given at least 48 hours prior to any services.

CAN I GIVE MY DOG SOMETHING TO HELP CALM THEM FOR THEIR SERVICE?

This depends on what is given to help calm your dog. We only accept over the counter calming medications. Prescription medications are usually stronger, and can mask signs of stress - making it harder for us to read how they're doing during their service. If these medications (or any anesthetics) are given to your dog we must wait at least 48 hours before providing any service.

MY DOG HAS MATS, CAN YOU BRUSH THEM OUT?

Some matting can be brushed out, but most is too severe and would cause harm to do so. If a coat is too matted to brush out, a shorter hair style may be just the thing for a clean, fresh start!

CAN I STAY AND WATCH MY DOGS GROOMING SERVICE?

To keep your dogs grooming experience as safe and stress-free as possible we do not allow pet parents to observe the grooming process. Typically, when your dog can see you, they will try to get to you and wiggle around during the service, which can be extremely dangerous.

CAN I BRING MY OWN PRODUCTS FOR THE SERVICE?

Typically, no; however we do make an exception for products prescribed by your Vet. If this is the case, please provide any details regarding the treatment so we can do our best to meet your pups needs.
